Who is Barış Manço? Baris Manco is a Turkish-born artist whose life and personality will be taken as an example. Born in Üsküdar on January 2, 1943, Barış Manço was attracted to his youth in his music. The first 45's were published in 1962, when the Harmonis, Baris Manco, were 21 years old. As of this writing, "Harmoniler" was scattered because Barış Manco had to continue his education life in Belgium after a while to print his music advertisement.
He would go to Belgium for higher education at the Royal Academy. On his journey, he went to Paris, France's capital, before going to Belgium, and met with French singer Henri Salvador, whom he had seen before. Henri could not make an agreement because Baris Manco found the Frenchman and his physique to be inadequate (assuming he was overweight). While he was studying painting, graphic and interior architecture in Belgium, he also contributed to his life by serving as a waitress and auto attendant. In a short time he advanced the French language and got a chance to evaluate his compositions. In 1964 he met with Rigolo record company to continue his musical life. In September 1964 he released an EP album with 4 songs in French. This acclaimed album soon started playing on French radio! When it comes to Turkey, Turkish radyocu had thought that French song sung by one and had presented the song in this way.
Manco music, which sustained its first success in this way, has brought us numerous works throughout our life. Both personality, was an artist's heart with Turkey winning all the songs need. He never hesitated to silence social events and to express them in his songs. He always saw people as a whole. He never looked at people differently. He has always been like himself and continues to be like himself. Singing was one of the rare people that did not change fame. The night of January 31, 1999 suddenly disturbed. It was urgently removed to the hospital around 23:30. As a result of the examinations, it was determined that Manco had a heart attack. Despite all the interventions done in the hospital where he was abducted, he could not be saved and his illness closed his eyes on 1 February 01:30. Baris Manco has always been a model for life.
Today 02.01.2018. Baris Manco's 75th birth anniversary. He would be here at the age of 75. After 1 month, it will be the 19th year of our departure. Maybe it's a humanoid world we can not fit. We respectfully acknowledge it. Sleep in the light, beautiful human...
